P & K Memorial Nursing Home popularly known as Gohain Nursing Home was founded by Late Dr. Jitendra Nath Gohain in memory of Late Dr. Pranati Borgohain & Late Kalyan Gohain in the Year 1981 on 1st of July.
Dr. Jitendra Nath Gohain who was a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, London dedicated his life in serving people which earned him accolades like President of Association of surgeons of India, Assam Chapter; President of Association of Rural Surgeons of India; Chikitsa Ratan Award.
